Minister of Education and Teaching Directs One-Year Suspension for Students Who Film Teachers Inside Schools

Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued strict directives to all schools across the country to impose a suspension of one full academic year on any student who uses any recording device to film a teacher within the school premises, in accordance with Ministerial Decision No. 150 of 2024 concerning the School Incentive and Discipline Regulations.

In this context, the directive stipulates that if a student uses a recording device to film a teacher within the school premises with the intent to insult, bully, or publish the footage on social media platforms, the student shall be suspended from school for a full academic year.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education emphasizes that preserving the dignity and respect of teachers, and providing a disciplined educational environment within educational institutions, are fundamental pillars of the educational process.
