Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince discusses historic fraternal relations between the two countries with the King of Jordan and his Crown Prince

Representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, met with his brother, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, at His Majesty’s residence in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, to his brother the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, along with his best wishes for their good health and well-being, and for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its brotherly people continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting also saw discussions on the solid, historic fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and ways to enhance and develop these relations to serve the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples. In addition, the latest regional and international developments were discussed.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jeraah Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Tariq Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; Lieutenant General Ahmed Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince; and Ambassador Abdullah Al-Obaidi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Minister’s Office.
