Siblings' Dispute Ends in Destruction of Surveillance Camera

A family dispute between two brothers escalated to investigation rooms and files after a non-Kuwaiti individual reported to the Ahmadi Police Station that his home had been deliberately vandalized, with several parts of the property damaged, including the surveillance camera. He accused his brother of being behind the incident.

A security source told Al-Anbaa that the complainant went to the station and stated that the damage affected multiple areas of his home, including the installed surveillance camera, the windows of the majlis (reception room), and the main entrance.

According to the complainant’s statements, he attributed the damage to his brother, who is also a non-Kuwaiti. This transformed the matter from a family disagreement into an official report, bringing it under the jurisdiction of domestic violence cases.

The source added that security officers documented the details of the incident and referred the matter to the competent deputy public prosecutor, who ordered the registration of a case under the charge of “deliberate destruction – domestic violence” and referred it to the relevant authority to investigate the circumstances, identify the perpetrator, and complete the legal procedures.
