Nahda participates in the 9th meeting of experts and representatives of independent bodies under the Arab Convention against Corruption

The State of Kuwait, represented by the Public Authority for Anti-Corruption (Nizaha), participated in the ninth meeting of the Open-Ended Committee of Governmental Experts and Representatives of Independent Bodies from the States Parties to the Arab Convention against Corruption, held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The meeting was held as part of the events of the sixth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Convention, organized by the Secretariat-General of the Arab League, in preparation for the sixth session of the Conference. The Committee reviewed draft resolutions scheduled to be presented to the Conference for subsequent submission, completing the preparatory sessions that had been held virtually on September 8, 9, and 15 of the current month.

The meeting’s agenda included discussions on several draft resolutions, among them the mechanism for reviewing the implementation of the Arab Convention against Corruption, and the Doha Declaration on strengthening preventive measures against corruption and enhancing international cooperation by accelerating the response to requests for mutual legal assistance.
