His Highness Receives Invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Participate in the Gulf-Europe Summit Next October

His Highness Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad received a written message from his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a fraternal nation. The message included an invitation for His Highness to attend the second summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union, which will be held in Riyadh on Saturday, October 24.

The message was delivered to His Highness by His Excellency Prince Sultan bin Saad, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Kuwait.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, Minister of the Diwan Amiri Affairs; retired Major General Jamal Al-Diab, Director of His Highness the Amir’s Office; Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Al-Mubarak, Deputy Secretary of the Diwan Amiri; and Mazen Al-Eisa, Deputy Secretary for Foreign Affairs at the Diwan Amiri.

On another note, His Highness Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad sent condolence messages to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. In these messages, His Highness expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies on the passing of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, praying to Almighty God to have mercy on him, grant him a place in His vast Paradise, and inspire the deceased’s family with patience and solace.

Furthermore, His Highness Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad sent a congratulatory message to Dr. Perry Christal Stidham, Governor-General of the friendly Republic of Belize, extending his warm congratulations on the occasion of her country’s Independence Day. He wished her good health and well-being, and wished Belize and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.

His Highness also sent a congratulatory message to Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of the friendly Republic of Malta, offering his sincere congratulations on the occasion of her country’s Independence Day. He wished her good health and well-being, and wished the Republic of Malta and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.

Additionally, His Highness Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad sent a congratulatory message to Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the friendly Republic of Armenia, extending his warm congratulations on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day. He wished him good health and well-being, and wished the Republic of Armenia and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.
