Kuwait and Saudi Arabia Discuss Ways to Enhance Cooperation and Coordination in Military and Security Sectors

Lieutenant General Abdulwahab Al-Wahib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, headed the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the meeting of the Military and Security Coordination Committee, established under the Kuwaiti-Saudi Coordination Council. The meeting was held via video conference, with the participation of representatives from relevant entities on both the Kuwaiti and Saudi sides, in the presence of several security leaders, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Cybersecurity Center, and the Public Authority for Anti-Corruption (Nazaha).

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the meeting discussed several topics and joint initiatives listed on the agenda, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in military and security fields. It also addressed the development of mechanisms for exchanging information and expertise, aiming to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of joint operations.

The statement clarified that the meeting comes within the framework of the solid fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reflecting the mutual commitment to continue strengthening security and military integration and unifying joint efforts, thereby supporting the security and stability of the two brotherly countries and the region.
