Saudi Arabia condemns the incursion of an Israeli official and extremist settlers into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound

On Sunday, Saudi Arabia expressed its strongest condemnation of the “breach of the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by an official from the Israeli occupation authorities and a group of extremist settlers under the protection of occupation forces,” deeming this a blatant violation and an affront to Muslims worldwide. In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom’s firm rejection of the provocative practices, as well as the illegal and extremist incitement and violence committed by Israeli occupation officials against Palestinians and the holy sites in occupied Palestine. It stressed the necessity for the international community to assume its responsibility to halt all such attacks that contravene international law and international humanitarian law.
