The Amir's Representative, His Highness the Crown Prince, meets the President of Estonia and the President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly

Representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, received Alar Karis, President of the friendly Republic of Estonia, and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, to the President of Estonia, wishing him good health and further development and prosperity for the friendly Republic of Estonia and its people.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Estonia and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jeraah Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi, Ambassador; Tariq Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and Lieutenant General Ahmed Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince.

Also, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, met today with Dr. Khalil Al-Rahman, President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad.

His Highness the Crown Prince extended his congratulations to him on assuming the presidency of the current session of the United Nations General Assembly, affirming the full support of the State of Kuwait for the presidency’s efforts to enhance cooperation among member states and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The meeting also discussed several items on the agenda of the 81st session, as well as key international issues.
