Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince discusses bilateral relations development with the Austrian President

Representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, met with Alexander Van der Bellen, President of the Republic of Austria, at his residence in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to the President of Austria, wishing him good health and well-being, and wishing the Republic of Austria and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Austria and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples. It also addressed the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi, Ambassador; Tariq Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and Lieutenant General Ahmed Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince.
