Salah's hat-trick leads Trabzonspor to victory over Galatasaray

Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah led his team Trabzonspor to a 4-0 victory over visiting Galatasaray in the sixth matchday of the Turkish Super Lig, scoring a hat-trick that took his tally to seven goals, placing him at the top of the league's scoring charts.

Salah opened the scoring after breaking away following a long pass from Mustafa Eskihelak (4'). He then set up Portuguese forward Noah Okafor, who finished with a brilliant strike (39').

The Egyptian captain sealed the result with the third goal, firing a powerful shot from inside the box after receiving a pass from Guinea-Bissau’s Frankolino (44'). With ten minutes remaining, the former Liverpool forward scored his first hat-trick in the Turkish club’s colors, again breaking away on a counter-attack and finishing with skill to add his third goal (80').

Galatasaray finished the match with ten men after substitute French defender Leslie Oguochukwu was sent off (85'), while their manager Okan Buruk was also dismissed (73').

Salah now leads the scoring charts with seven goals, one ahead of Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Gift Orban, and Uzbekistan’s Eldor Shomurodov.
