Kuwait University Director Forms Committees to Select Deans of Four Colleges

Kuwait University announced that University President Dr. Dina Al-Maleem issued several decisions to form committees for selecting deans of several of the university’s colleges, in line with her commitment to supporting academic and administrative work and enhancing the trajectory of institutional development.

The university stated in a statement that the colleges for which committees have been formed are the College of Administrative Sciences, the College of Sciences, the College of Dentistry, and the College of Architecture. It noted that the composition of the committees took into account the diversity of academic and specialized expertise among their members, thereby reinforcing the objectivity of their work and supporting the selection process in accordance with approved regulations, systems, and laws.

The university affirmed that this step aligns with its strategic directions to strengthen governance and entrench standards of quality and transparency. It added that, in accordance with the relevant frameworks and regulatory guidelines, committees for selecting deans of the remaining colleges will be formed sequentially.
