First Deputy issues three delegation-of-signature decisions for passports under Article 17 and nationality certificates

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef issued three decisions regarding signing delegations.

Article 1 of the first decision, No. 1415 of 2026, published in the official gazette “Al-Kuwait Al-Youm,” states the following:

The following individuals are authorized to sign passports issued by the General Directorate of Nationality and Travel Documents in accordance with Article 17 of Law No. 11/1962, using the signature format attached to this decision:

1. Colonel Abdulrahman Najib Al-Othman, Director General of the General Directorate of Nationality and Travel Documents.

2. Legal Affairs Colonel Muhammad Mazid Al-Mazid, Assistant Director General of the General Directorate of Nationality and Travel Documents.

Article 2 stipulates that the Undersecretary shall implement this decision effective from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the official gazette.

The second decision, No. 1416 of 2026, concerning signing delegation, states the following:

Article 1: Legal Affairs Colonel Muhammad Mazid Al-Mazid, Assistant Director General of the General Directorate of Nationality and Travel Documents, is authorized to sign Kuwaiti nationality certificates issued by the General Directorate of Nationality and Travel Documents, using the signature format attached to this decision.

Article 2: The Undersecretary shall implement this decision effective from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the official gazette.

The third decision, No. 1417 of 2026, published in the official gazette “Al-Kuwait Al-Youm,” states the following:

Article 1: Legal Affairs Major Ibrahim Hamad Abdullah Al-Saleeli, Assistant Director of the Nationality Department, is authorized to sign Kuwaiti nationality certificates issued by the General Directorate of Nationality and Travel Documents, using the signature format attached to this decision.

Article 2: The Undersecretary shall implement this decision effective from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the official gazette.
