Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the Global Banking & Markets Saudi Arabia 2026 (GBM Saudi Arabia 2026) conference, held at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences.

This annual gathering is among the most prominent financial events in the Middle East, focusing on the development of debt, equity, and structured finance markets. It brings together a distinguished group of policymakers, investors, issuers, sovereign representatives, corporate leaders, and banking experts from across the region and global markets.

The conference attracted more than 800 senior executives, policymakers, investors, issuers, government and corporate representatives, and financial institutions, providing a vital platform to discuss key trends and developments in the financial sector.

Through its participation, KFH showcased its integrated capabilities in corporate banking, structured finance, wealth management, treasury solutions, and capital markets services. It also highlighted its innovative Islamic banking products and solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of clients and businesses.

As part of the conference proceedings, Khaled Al-Rashid, Deputy General Manager of Global Markets Trading and Investments at KFH, took part in a panel discussion titled “What Global and Regional Asset Managers Want to See in Saudi Bond and Sukuk Issuances.” During the session, Al-Rashid addressed the growing attractiveness of Saudi Arabia’s debt markets, the key factors driving investor participation in sovereign and corporate issuances, and the market’s ability to attract and retain foreign investment flows.

From the perspective of a regional investor, he outlined how KFH’s approach to Saudi credit has evolved alongside market maturation and development, clarifying the bank’s outlook and investment appetite for the Saudi market in the coming period.

Al-Rashid reaffirmed KFH’s commitment to supporting the development of regional capital markets and enhancing collaboration among various stakeholders in the fixed-income instruments ecosystem.

Zakaria Al-Ansari, Deputy General Manager of Sales and Structuring in Global Markets at KFH, also participated in a specialized dialogue session on foreign exchange and interest rate risk hedging strategies, held within the Saudi Trading Hall on the sidelines of the Global Banking and Markets conference.

The session brought together a select group of treasury and corporate finance specialists and financial market practitioners from major regional institutions to discuss best practices in managing foreign exchange and interest rate risks amid a rapidly changing market environment.

During the session, Al-Ansari addressed several key topics, including foreign exchange and interest rate risk management, the design and implementation of hedging programs, optimization of liquidity and financing management, cross-border treasury operations, and future market outlooks.

He emphasized the importance of adopting effective risk management strategies to enhance corporate resilience, support financial objectives, and manage liquidity amid rapidly changing market conditions. He also highlighted the growing importance of designing hedging solutions tailored to clients’ needs, and their role in helping institutions navigate market volatility and align treasury operations with strategic goals.

On the sidelines of the conference, a delegation from Kuwait Finance House (KFH) held a series of meetings and discussions with several participants in the financial markets and sector leaders, showcasing the group’s expertise in global markets and its commitment to delivering innovative, value-added solutions for clients and investors.
