In a press statement marking World Environment Cleanup Day, which falls on Sunday, Dr. Al-Faleh stated that environmental protection is a shared responsibility that integrates the efforts of government entities, civil society, the private sector, and volunteers.
She noted that such occasions contribute to raising environmental awareness and encouraging community participation, thereby supporting national efforts toward a more sustainable environment, while stressing the importance of translating environmental awareness into sustainable community behaviors and practices.
