Higher Education: Third round of inter-university transfer for general secondary school students, STEM schools, and Nile schools

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the opening of the third round of the "reduction of displacement" (Taqleel al-Ightrab) process for General Secondary School students across all tracks, as well as for students of STEM schools and Nile Schools for Science and Technology, for admission to public universities and institutes for the 2026–2027 academic year, in accordance with the established rules and regulations governing transfers.

In an official statement, the Ministry added that the Coordination Office allows students to submit their reduction-of-displacement requests electronically via the electronic coordination website: www.tansik.digital.gov.eg

The Ministry further issued an important notice, clarifying that if a student previously submitted a reduction-of-displacement request that was not approved, it means that no available seats remain in the desired faculty under the prescribed rules and quotas. Therefore, students are advised not to resubmit the same request and should instead select other available options when registering for the reduction-of-displacement process.

The Ministry urged students to adhere to the published rules and regulations, to ensure accuracy when submitting their preferences, and to rely solely on information issued by the Coordination Office for Admissions to Public Universities and Institutes.
