"Industrial Development": The 24th is the final deadline for investors to apply for the new units

The General Organization for Industrial Development (GOID) has announced the opening of electronic applications for 21 industrial units at the Hawara Al-Maqta complex in Fayoum Governorate, as part of the first phase of the offering. The deadline for submitting applications via the Egypt Digital Industrial Platform is Thursday, September 24, 2026.
The offering includes 19 industrial units on the ground floor of the concrete building, with areas ranging from 80 to 123 square meters, in addition to two factories located in the metal hangar, each with an area of 860 square meters. The units are designated for activities in the apparel and textiles, furniture and wood industries, and food and engineering sectors, under a lease system.
In coordination with partner agencies, the GOID has called on young people and small investors interested in obtaining the units to submit their applications electronically via the Egypt Digital Industrial Platform through the website egyptindustrialhub.com, during the period from September 12 to 24 of this month.
The offering booklet includes the conditions and regulations for allocation and security, as well as the mutual obligations and responsibilities between the tenants and the complex management, which is handled by “Ayadi Misr” Company. Applications will be reviewed, examined, and verified after the application window closes, with the final allocation results to be announced within two weeks of the end of the application period, paving the way for the launch of subsequent phases of the complex.
This offering is implemented in line with the directives of Engineer Khaled Hashim, Minister of Industry, to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs and provide sustainable employment opportunities for the youth of the governorates. “Ayadi Misr for Urban Development” Company is responsible for the development, contracting, and technical and administrative supervision of the complex, in coordination with the Egyptian Federation of Industries and with the participation of the Ministry of Local Development and Environment and Fayoum Governorate. Meanwhile, the GOID is handling the electronic offering and allocation procedures to ensure transparency, impartiality, and equal opportunity among applicants.
The units and factories have been equipped with basic utilities, including water, sewage, and electrical capacity, enabling immediate operation. The Hawara Al-Maqta complex is located west of New Fayoum City, 4 kilometers from the city, 5 kilometers from the main Cairo-Fayoum road, and 13 kilometers from Fayoum City. It is also characterized by its proximity to residential clusters that provide a labor base for projects, including Ezbat Ali Farag, Ezbat Mahmoud Saeed, Damshakin, and Hawara Al-Maqta.
