Al-Arabi signs with Suwaid; Al-Walad Al-Sheikh joins training

Al-Arabi Club announced the signing of Algerian center-back Badr Eddine Souiad to strengthen its first-team football squad. The new Dutch professional, Walid Ould Cheikh, also joined the "Green" team's training session on Saturday following his recent contract. Reports indicated that Al-Arabi is set to release Brazilian defender Lucas Sheldon and Senegalese defender Jawhar Kadem Rasoul. The club also revealed that defender Jumaa Aboud has been called up to the Syrian national team for the first time.
