This reflects the bank’s commitment to innovation, enhancing the customer experience, and delivering sustainable value, alongside its qualitative achievements in digital banking and the cumulative results of its continuous investment in technology and innovation.
The awards were accepted by Ghazi Al-Anzi, Deputy General Manager for Private Banking and Wealth Management at KFH, and Ahmed Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Tam Digital Bank, during the Euromoney Awards ceremony held in Dubai.
Leadership in Sharia-Compliant Wealth Management
KFH’s wins for “Best Islamic Bank for Wealth Management in the Middle East” and “Best Islamic Bank for Wealth Management in Kuwait” highlight the bank’s success in advancing its private banking and wealth management operations. It has transformed these divisions into a comprehensive advisory platform that integrates Sharia-compliant banking, financing, and investment solutions.
According to Euromoney magazine, KFH has restructured its private banking and wealth management business under a unified framework and launched a new operating model aimed at enhancing the customer experience, strengthening investment capabilities, and offering more sophisticated Islamic wealth management solutions.
This transformation was underpinned by investments in specialized expertise and technology, alongside the continuous development of Bait Capital, the bank’s investment arm. The magazine noted that a key pillar of Kuwait Finance House’s strategy is the redesign of its client relationship management model through a specialized advisory framework that integrates relationship managers, investment specialists, financing specialists, and account managers. This enables clients to benefit from integrated expertise tailored to their banking, financing, and investment needs.
EuroMoney also highlighted the bank’s focus on human capital development. Its private banking and wealth management teams completed advanced training programs with Moody’s, obtained professional certifications from the Certified Institute for Securities and Investment, and participated in specialized advisory programs in Islamic wealth management.
On the investment services front, EuroMoney pointed to the bank’s launch of its Global Discretionary Portfolio Management service. Anchored in the bank’s internal investment outlook and asset allocation model, this service offers clients a diversified, multi-asset investment approach through an open-ended selection of Sharia-compliant investment funds.
Digital innovation played a pivotal role in this success. The magazine noted that Bait Capital implemented a new asset management system to unify the management of funds and investment portfolios, and developed the KFH Wealth application, providing clients with more efficient access to their investment portfolios. The launch of the Allfunds platform in Kuwait also expanded access to Sharia-compliant investment opportunities.
The magazine added that Kuwait Finance House achieved record profits in its private banking and wealth management segments, alongside notable growth in assets under management during the assessment period. This reinforces its position as the benchmark for modern, advisory-driven Islamic wealth management in Kuwait.
Excellence in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Standards
Kuwait Finance House’s receipt of the “Best Islamic Bank in Kuwait for ESG Implementation” award reflects the bank’s comprehensive approach to sustainability and responsible banking.
According to the magazine, Kuwait Finance House has applied a holistic ESG framework across its financing activities, operational processes, and community investments. This has contributed to tangible environmental efficiencies, expanded access to essential services, and strengthened corporate governance and oversight.
The magazine noted that sustainability considerations have become integral to the bank’s banking activities, evidenced by increased investment in green sukuk and sustainability-linked sukuk, as well as financing for national infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment facilities that support water reuse and enhance resource efficiency.
The magazine also highlighted the bank’s efforts to reduce energy consumption across its branch network through the adoption of energy-efficient systems, upgrades to cooling systems, and the introduction of automated control systems that have improved operational efficiency.
In this context, Kuwait Finance House has completed several certified green buildings, including structures that have earned both GSAS Gold and LEED Gold certifications. These reflect tangible improvements in energy and water consumption efficiency and waste management, contributing to the establishment of sustainability standards in Kuwait’s commercial real estate sector.
On the social front, EuroMoney praised the bank’s Creating Shared Value (CSV) platform, which has facilitated the implementation of more than 200 community initiatives. These initiatives include the allocation of 8 million Kuwaiti dinars for the reconstruction of 17 buildings in the Mubarakiya Market, and the allocation of 18 million Kuwaiti dinars to support a specialized cardiac care center.
These initiatives were further supported by more than 3,000 hours of volunteer work, the distribution of over 18,000 meals during Ramadan, and support for 1,680 families, contributing to enhanced healthcare, the preservation of national heritage, and the strengthening of essential community services.
The magazine also noted that Kuwait Finance House has maintained robust governance standards through direct board-level oversight, comprehensive emissions measurement, and the integration of sustainability considerations into credit assessment processes, thereby aligning sustainability goals with risk management and capital allocation decisions.
Digital Excellence and the “Tam” Bank
EuroMoney noted that Kuwait Finance House is a leader in Kuwait’s digital banking landscape, driven by the strategic development of “Tam” Bank, the country’s first Sharia-compliant digital bank.
Tam Bank’s digital strategy is anchored in four key investment pillars: digital infrastructure, cybersecurity and compliance, product innovation, and the delivery of a seamless customer experience.
This has resulted in the launch of a fully mobile banking platform that provides instant, secure, and user-friendly banking services, with a particular focus on the youth segment aged 15 and above.
This approach has reinforced Kuwait Finance House’s position as a leader in digital transformation across the region, while maintaining strict Sharia governance and high operational flexibility. By executing a clearly defined digital vision and achieving tangible, measurable improvements in customer experience and engagement levels, Kuwait Finance House has solidified its position as a pioneer of digital banking services in Kuwait.
Through “Tam,” the bank affirms that disciplined investment, customer-centric design, and continuous innovation can translate into sustainable long-term digital leadership.
Kuwait Finance House has successfully strengthened its digital presence by developing its technological infrastructure and expanding the scope of services offered through various digital channels and platforms, alongside smart branches and self-service kiosks. This has contributed to a qualitative leap in the level of banking services, increased adoption rates, and improved quality and operational efficiency metrics.
The bank has presented a comprehensive model of digital transformation grounded in a clear strategic vision focused on the customer and achieving tangible operational results. More than 600 million digital transactions were executed in 2025, and over 200 integrated digital services were provided via KFHonline, reinforcing the position of digital services as a primary banking option for customers.
