Bashir: Contracting 15 foreign coaches to train youth categories in clubs

Bishar Abdullah, the Acting Director General of the General Authority for Youth and Sports, announced the signing of 15 world-class football coaches to work with the under-12 age groups in local clubs, in collaboration with the Football Association.

In a video released by the General Authority for Youth and Sports on its social media accounts, Bishar stated: “As a former player, I understand the importance of properly nurturing young talent. In line with our responsibilities and role at the Authority, particularly within the Sports and Youth Affairs sector, we have embraced a project in partnership with the Football Association. Through this initiative, 15 coaches with specific, defined qualifications were selected after reviewing 150 CVs from various countries around the world, in cooperation with FIFA and international projects.”

He added: “We have contracted 15 foreign coaches who will be distributed across 15 local clubs. This is our role in caring for the youth and providing them with the best possible conditions.”

Bishar extended his thanks to everyone who contributed to this project over the past three months and to the present, emphasizing that all parties worked diligently and with great effort to achieve this satisfactory outcome. He expressed his hope that the fruits of this effort will be reaped in the near future.
