Chief of Staff discusses with French counterpart strengthening and developing joint defense cooperation

The Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khalid Al-Shuraim, met with his French counterpart, Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces, General Fabien Mandon. The two sides discussed aspects of defense cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop their joint defense cooperation in light of current circumstances. Both sides affirmed their commitment to raising the level of coordination and cooperation between the armed forces of the two nations.

The meeting also addressed a number of issues of mutual interest and efforts aimed at strengthening regional security and stability. This took place within the framework of Lieutenant General Khalid Al-Shuraim’s official visit to the friendly Republic of France.
