Kuwait to Host the 2027 First Asian Games for Esports and Mind Sports

The Executive Board of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), during its 110th meeting held today, approved Kuwait’s bid to host the 2027 First Asian Games for Esports and Mind Sports.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, Vice President of the OCA for the West Asia region and President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of the OCA, and to the members of the Executive Board for approving Kuwait’s hosting of the Games, affirming his pride in this confidence.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser stated that Kuwait’s hosting of the inaugural edition reflects the high confidence in the country’s potential and organizational capabilities. He emphasized that the Kuwait Olympic Committee will work in cooperation and coordination with the OCA and relevant stakeholders to provide all necessary requirements to ensure the success of the Games and present them in the best possible light, befitting Kuwait’s standing and its capacity to host and organize Asian sporting events.
