Al-Azhar Institutes Sector Opens Appeals Window for Secondary School Exam Results on September 19 for 60 Days

The Supreme Committee for Appeals of Al-Azhar Secondary School Certificate Students under the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector has announced the opening of the appeal window for the 2025/2026 academic year results. Appeals will be accepted starting Saturday, September 19, 2026, for a period of 60 days. No applications submitted after the expiration of this deadline will be considered.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Sharqawi, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, affirmed that opening the appeal window reflects the sector’s commitment to providing students with the opportunity to review their results and ensure that every student receives their rightful grade. This process is conducted in accordance with the regulations and procedures governing appeals, ensuring accuracy and transparency in the review of answer sheets.
The Al-Azhar Institutes Sector clarified that appeal applications will be accepted on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays of each week, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Ahmed El-Libi Institute in Nasr City, Cairo, according to the following regional distribution:
* Saturday: Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Cairo, and Kafr El-Sheikh regions.
* Monday: Gharbia, Sharqia, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai, and South Sinai regions.
* Wednesday: Qalyubia, Menoufia, Damietta, Beheira, Port Said, and Dakahlia regions.
Appeal applications will also be accepted at regional headquarters on Saturdays only. The Qena Al-Azhar Examinations Administration will accept applications from the Qena, Red Sea, Luxor, and Aswan regions. The Assiut Al-Azhar Examinations Administration will accept applications from the Minya, Assiut, Sohag, and New Valley regions. The Alexandria Al-Azhar Examinations Administration will accept applications from the Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh regions.
The sector noted that the student or their guardian must submit the appeal application, accompanied by the payment of administrative service fees, the expert’s deposit for each subject referred to the expert committee, and execution service fees in the event of a grade increase. All payments must adhere to the established rules and prescribed fees.
Required documents include: the application form, a recent grade report, receipts for fee and expert deposit payments, a copy of the applicant’s national ID card, and a copy of the student’s ID card.
All prescribed amounts must be paid via postal transfer to the institutional code number 10500121, to the Unified Treasury Account at the Central Bank, account number (9450874816). The transfer must explicitly state “Secondary School Appeals” as the purpose; otherwise, it will not be accepted.
The Supreme Appeals Committee emphasized that students or their guardians must comply with the appeal procedures and complete any additional information requested by the committee. Applicants are required to provide an active phone number with the WhatsApp application installed, along with an alternative contact number.
