Al Jazeera and Czech Tourism Launch Direct Winter Flights to Prague for the First Time
Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier, has announced a partnership with CzechTourism to launch direct travel packages from Kuwait to Prague for the first time during the winter season, offering travelers a new opportunity to explore the Czech capital during one of its most beautiful and distinctive seasons.
Starting December 17, Jazeera Airways will operate two direct flights per week between Kuwait and Prague, with schedules aligned with the winter school holidays and the holiday travel season. This new service will continue until February 7, 2027, marking a significant step in developing the Kuwait–Prague route, as Jazeera Airways expands its operations to this destination—previously served only during the European summer season—to include the winter season for the first time.

For years, Prague has been one of the preferred European destinations for travelers from Kuwait and the region, renowned for its historic Old Town, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock, charming neighborhoods along the riverbanks, world-class museums and galleries, vibrant cafés, and rich cultural heritage. In winter, the city offers a distinct experience with its festive markets, seasonal events, illuminated streets and squares, and signature winter cuisine.
Prague’s famous winter markets, including the events held in Old Town Square, are among the city’s most prominent holiday attractions, making it a particularly appealing destination for families and travelers seeking a European winter getaway.

Jazeera Airways launched its first direct flights between Kuwait and Prague in June 2022, establishing an important air link between Kuwait and the Czech Republic. Following the success of the first season, the carrier reintroduced the destination into its summer European network, providing travelers from Kuwait with a convenient option to reach the Czech capital at competitive prices.
