Our Ambassador in Vienna Discusses Joint Cooperation and Regional Developments with the Austrian Foreign Minister

Our Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, Fawaz Al-Bursali, held talks with Nicholas Marchik, the Secretary-General of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, alongside a number of issues of mutual interest.

The Kuwaiti Embassy in Vienna said in a press statement received by KUNA that the meeting covered areas of joint cooperation and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the interests of both countries, as well as discussions on the latest developments in the Middle East region.

The embassy noted that the two sides discussed the situation concerning the Strait of Hormuz, as well as preparations for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled to be held in New York.

It also pointed out that the meeting addressed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two sides on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.
