Body of 30-year-old Asian man found in Al-Farwaniyah desert prompts Criminal Investigation Department response

Manсур Al-Sultan: Security forces discovered the body of an Asian expatriate in his 40s in the Al-Bar Al-Farwaniya area early yesterday morning, following a report received by the Ministry of Interior’s operations center from an individual who stated he had seen a deceased person at the location.

According to a security source who spoke to Al-Anbaa newspaper, a report was received by the Interior Ministry’s operations center from an individual who said he had spotted a body in a desert area in the Farwaniya Governorate. Security patrols immediately rushed to the scene, where it was confirmed that the body belonged to an Asian national in his 40s.

The source added that forensic investigators and the forensic doctor were called to the scene. The forensic doctor ordered the body to be transferred to the relevant authority for examination to determine the cause of death and to establish whether there was any criminal suspicion.
