China launches 9 satellites into space via rocket launched from the sea

China launched nine satellites into predetermined orbits yesterday from waters off the coast of Shanghai in eastern China. The launch mission was carried out by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, where a "Gravity-1 W3" carrier rocket was launched carrying the nine satellites, which included a new batch of satellites for the Qianfan constellation and a satellite for testing Enhanced Ultra-High Rate (EUHR) technology. The mission was declared a complete success. According to Orienspace, a Chinese commercial space company, this mission set new records in China for a single sea-based rocket launch in terms of payload weight and orbital altitude.
