Civil Information Department allows changing residential address to "Rental" or "Parents' Home" via "Sahl"

The Civil Information Authority has enabled Kuwaiti individuals to change their address electronically through the unified government e-services platform, “Sahel.” This allows citizens to complete address change procedures easily without needing to visit the Authority to finalize the steps provided by the service.

The service includes the ability to change the address based on the type of residence, such as a rented unit or a parental home. Users can access the “Sahel” app, select the Civil Information Authority’s services, navigate to “Individual Services,” and choose the “Change Kuwaiti Address” service.

Users then specify the type of ownership under which the address is to be registered, with options including “Rental” or “Parental Home.” They subsequently complete the required data and requirements displayed through the service until the address change request is finalized electronically.

This service is part of the broader effort to digitize government services and simplify procedures for citizens, thereby saving time and effort and accelerating the processing of residential data and civil address updates.
