Cooperation Council Land Forces Chiefs: Enhance Combat Readiness and Achieve Defense Integration

The 24th meeting of the Chiefs of Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states concluded in Bahrain. The Bahraini News Agency (BNA) reported that the meeting was attended by the Chiefs of Ground Forces of the GCC member states, Lieutenant General Rakan Salman Al-Fadala, Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs at the GCC General Secretariat, and Lieutenant General Rakan Abdulaziz Al-Balawi, Commander of the GCC Unified Military Command.

The Kuwaiti delegation participating in the meeting was led by Brigadier General Rakan Hamad Ahmad Al-Suwaidi, Commander of the Ground Force.

During the meeting, several issues related to the scope of joint Gulf military operations concerning the ground forces of the GCC member states were discussed. The aim was to ensure their development, continue enhancing their systems to improve efficiency and combat readiness, and achieve defensive integration among GCC member states to address various challenges.
