Boubyan renews its sponsorship and partnership with the Savant for Soccer Football Academy

Boubyan Bank has renewed its sponsorship of the “Safentin for Soccer” football academy, which specializes in training youth aged 5 to 16. This renewal extends a partnership that has been in place since the academy’s founding in 2018, reflecting the bank’s commitment to long-term investment in youth and the support of promising sports talents in Kuwait.
The sponsorship renewal was signed in the presence of Faisal Al-Khadar, Assistant Manager of the Communications and Corporate Relations Department at Boubyan Bank, and Bader Al-Mutawa, founder of the “Safentin for Soccer” academy and former member of the Kuwait national team, along with several officials from the bank and the academy.
The sponsorship includes a special 20% discount on academy subscriptions for Boubyan Bank customers and the children of its employees during the summer and winter breaks of 2026–2027. This initiative broadens their access to the academy’s training programs and enhances the community value delivered by the partnership to various segments of Boubyan’s community.
Al-Khadar: Our Partnership Continues
On this occasion, Al-Khadar stated that the renewal of the sponsorship reflects Boubyan’s vision for community partnerships based on continuity and tangible impact. He explained that supporting the academy since its launch in 2018 embodies the bank’s belief in the importance of long-term investment in youth and providing pathways that help them discover and develop their abilities within an organized and motivating sports environment.
He added that the “Safentin for Soccer” academy represents a model of sports initiatives that combine the development of football skills with the building of the player’s character, by instilling values of discipline, teamwork, commitment, and ambition. This contributes to preparing a generation of youth equipped with the necessary sports and personal attributes to achieve their aspirations.
Al-Khadar noted that the partnership supports the academy’s efforts to expand its players’ experiences through participation in tournaments and external training camps, providing them with opportunities to encounter diverse football schools, compete in different competitive environments, and gain experiences that contribute to improving their technical and physical levels.
He emphasized that supporting these participations is part of a vision aimed at contributing to preparing a generation of talents capable of representing Kuwaiti sports honorably in the future. He affirmed that developing young players requires a comprehensive experience that combines regular training, competition, and the acquisition of experience both within Kuwait and abroad.
Al-Khadar concluded by affirming that Boubyan will continue to support initiatives that invest in the capabilities of youth and provide them with genuine opportunities for growth and development, thereby enhancing the role of sports in building generations and supporting the future of the sports sector in Kuwait.
Al-Mutawa: The Partnership Enhances Stability
For his part, Bader Al-Mutawa, founder of the “Safentin for Soccer” academy, expressed his gratitude to Boubyan Bank for renewing its sponsorship and continuing its support of the academy since its establishment. He affirmed that this partnership is a fundamental pillar in the academy’s journey and its ability to continue and develop its training programs.
He stated that Boubyan’s support has contributed to providing a comprehensive training environment that helps young players hone their skills and develop their capabilities according to an organized training methodology. Additionally, it has enabled approximately 250 academy players to transfer to several Kuwaiti clubs, reflecting the tangible impact of the partnership and the results it has achieved over the past years.
Al-Mutawa affirmed that the mission of the “Safentin for Soccer” academy goes beyond teaching technical football skills to include building the player’s character and instilling commitment and ambition.
