Tonight: Asala performs in Damascus

Singer Asala Nasri arrived in the capital, Damascus, accompanied by her husband Faeiq Hasan, their children, and several family members, following an absence from Syria that lasted approximately 15 years, in preparation for her upcoming concert with her Syrian audience. Asala’s return to Damascus to hold her concert this evening (Thursday) is part of an event titled “The Return of Authenticity,” sponsored by the Syrian Ministry of Culture and organized by Ougar Events. The anticipated evening marks Asala’s return to Syrian stages after many years of absence, as her last official appearance in Syria was at the Damascus Opera House in 2010. The concert will be held at the Fihaiya Sports Hall in Damascus, amid extensive artistic and logistical preparations to welcome the audience. Tickets were sold online via the Eventio platform and saw high demand, with reports indicating they sold out shortly after going on sale. According to the organizer, ticket prices for various categories ranged between $50 and $250, depending on the category and seating.
