Al-Khalij continues to support education by paying school fees for children from underprivileged families

In line with its steadfast commitment to social responsibility and its continuous support for the education sector, Gulf Bank announced its contribution toward covering the tuition fees of students from underprivileged families. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society as part of the “Back to School” campaign, which aims to support students and alleviate the financial burden on their families at the start of the new academic year.
This initiative extends the long-standing strategic partnership between Gulf Bank and the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, which over the past years has yielded numerous humanitarian and social initiatives and projects aimed at supporting various segments of society, particularly underprivileged families. These efforts have included providing humanitarian aid and contributing to various community and relief initiatives focused on this demographic, reflecting both parties’ dedication to strengthening social solidarity and fostering a culture of giving and volunteerism.
Following a visit by a delegation from the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Najla Al-Aissa, Head of Marketing at Gulf Bank, affirmed the bank’s pride in its enduring strategic partnership with the Society. She praised the Society’s pioneering humanitarian and community role across various fronts, whether through its relief and humanitarian efforts within Kuwait or its initiatives supporting those affected and in need in many countries around the world.
She noted that the Kuwait Red Crescent Society serves as a model for humanitarian and volunteer work, given the quality services and initiatives it provides to enhance social solidarity and reinforce values of generosity and human solidarity. She emphasized Gulf Bank’s commitment to continuing its cooperation with the Society to implement further initiatives that serve the community and support the most vulnerable groups.
For his part, Fawaz Al-Mazrouei, General Manager of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, presented Najla Al-Aissa, Head of Marketing at Gulf Bank, with a letter of appreciation in recognition of the bank’s distinguished role in supporting the Society’s humanitarian and community activities and programs.
