Egypt condemns attempt to target Mecca

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a statement that such attacks are contrary to Islamic values and represent a clear breach of the rules and provisions of international law. Egypt reaffirmed its complete rejection of any actions or behaviors that threaten the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, considering it an integral part of Arab national security and closely linked to Egypt’s national security. Egypt renewed its support for the Kingdom in any measures it may take to safeguard its sovereignty, the security of its territory, and its citizens.
