Kuwait condemns the incursion of extremist settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under the protection of the occupation forces

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation of the incursion by extremist settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, emphasizing that the repetition of such practices violates the sanctity of holy sites and exacerbates tensions in the region.

The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s rejection of attempts to alter the legal and historical status quo in Jerusalem and its holy sites, stressing the necessity for the international community to play its role in halting these transgressions and safeguarding the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque as a place of worship exclusively for Muslims.

The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s firm and supportive stance toward the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, foremost among which is the establishment of their independent state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
