Colleague Waleed Al-Nassif named "Media Personality of the Year" at the Arab Media Summit in Dubai

Waleed Al-Nassif, editor-in-chief of the sister publication Al-Qabas, won the “Media Personality of the Year” award as part of the Arab Media Awards, during the Arab Media Summit 2026 held in Dubai. In a statement to KUNA following his win, Al-Nassif expressed his happiness at this honor, describing it as the fruit of collective efforts and teamwork by the Al-Qabas newspaper staff. He emphasized that the achieved accomplishments are the result of the collaboration and dedication of all employees at the newspaper, and their commitment to continuing its media journey. Al-Nassif dedicated this victory to the State of Kuwait and to the local Kuwaiti press across all its institutions, affirming that any achievement attained by Kuwaiti media is an achievement for Kuwait, reflecting its distinguished and long-standing journalistic and media tradition and its prominent presence on the Arab stage.
