Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef affirmed that female police officers are partners in fulfilling the security mission. Speaking during the oath-taking ceremony for 14 female police graduates who completed the 11th mandatory course for civilian university graduates at the Police Academy in the sister state of Qatar—the first such deployment of female police officers to Qatar—Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef stated that the oath is a responsibility and a trust that demands sincerity in serving the nation, adherence to the law, and the protection of everyone’s rights. He congratulated the graduates on their graduation and the taking of the oath, wishing them success in their professional careers in service of the country, and praised the distinguished results they achieved, which reflect the capabilities of Kuwaiti women and their commitment to the responsibilities entrusted to them. He urged the graduates to translate the knowledge and skills they have acquired into field performance characterized by competence, discipline, and effective public relations.

Kuwait News Agency (KNA): Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef witnessed yesterday the oath-taking ceremony for 14 female police graduates who completed the 11th mandatory course for civilian university graduates at the Police Academy in the sister state of Qatar, marking the first deployment of female police officers to Qatar.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior said that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, in his address at the graduation ceremony, emphasized that the oath is a responsibility and a trust that demands sincerity in serving the nation, adherence to the law, and the protection of everyone’s rights, noting that female police officers are partners in fulfilling the security mission.

He congratulated the graduates on their graduation and the taking of the oath, wishing them success in their professional careers in service of the country, and praised the distinguished results they achieved, which reflect the capabilities of Kuwaiti women and their commitment to the responsibilities entrusted to them. Following this, Colonel Azhari Al-Safi, Director of the Women’s Police Institute, read the decision appointing the graduates to the police force with the rank of Lieutenant, while Colonel Rakan Fatima Al-Mutairi read the oath, which the graduates recited in the presence of the Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Lieutenant Manawwar Anbar ranked first in her cohort and first in physical training, while Lieutenant Rutaj Khamis ranked first in discipline, reflecting the excellence, seriousness, and commitment of female police officers in their training and preparation, and their adherence to the requirements of military service.

The Ministry noted that this deployment adds to the progress of the female police force by preparing scientifically and practically qualified personnel to perform their duties in maintaining security and serving the community.

Attending the oath-taking ceremony were Deputy Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Abdulwahab Al-Wahib, Deputy Minister for Auxiliary Security Services Lieutenant General Fawaz Al-Rumi, and the relevant security officials.
