Al-Hajar Regains Khairat's Assets

The Egyptian Opera continues to implement its documentary artistic project titled “100 Years of Singing,” as singer Ali El Haggar revived his collaborations with composer Omar Kheir through a selection of songs and theme music from the television series and films in which El Haggar participated. El Haggar presented these collaborations on the Grand Stage at the Opera House, under the baton of Maestro Ahmed Afifi and directed by Ahmed Fouad.

Among the works in which El Haggar collaborated with Kheir are “Fi Hawa’ al-Layl” and “Ah Ah” from the series “Ghawais,” along with its opening theme, as well as the songs “Nawit Agny,” “Hurriya,” “Matr,” and “Arafa” from the series “Asr al-Faras,” in addition to the theme music for “Bahlanat” and “Sayyes Hassanak.”

The list of works also included “Mal’oun” and “Ummi” from the series “Al-Sara’ al-Maksour,” the closing theme “Ah Ya Bin Amri,” and “Hihi al-Hayat” from the series “Mas’alat Mabda’,” along with the opening theme “Khayef min Bokra” and the closing theme “Kull al-Juruh laha Dawa.” It also featured works from the series “Al-Liqa’ al-Thani,” including its opening theme “Zi al-Hawa.” Additionally, El Haggar performed the song “Law Ta’rifi,” composed by Riad El Hamshary and arranged by Omar Kheir.

During the concert, the musical ensemble performed the theme music for the series “Dhimir Ummat Hikmat” and the music from the film “Khali Bak Min ‘Aqlak.”
