Extension of bid deadlines for two oil projects

MEE magazine reported that Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has set new bid submission deadlines for two projects in the oil sector. One project involves the development of the Zour Refinery, while the other targets the construction of remote gathering branches and associated works in the southern and eastern regions of Kuwait.

The magazine noted that December 15, 2026, has been set as the new deadline for submitting bids for the re-tendered project to develop the Zour Refinery by implementing an alternative feed system for the refinery’s hydrogen production unit.

Kuwait Petroleum Integrated Industries Company (KPIIC) is responsible for developing the project. The previous bid submission deadline was set for September 29, 2026.

As for the second project, the bid submission deadline has been extended to October 25, 2026. This project involves the construction of remote gathering branches and associated works in southern and eastern Kuwait for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The project was initially tendered last June, with the original bid submission deadline set for September 20, 2026.
