Media Undersecretary: Developing media operations and enhancing its capacity to handle rapidly evolving technological changes

The 24th edition of the Arab Media Summit 2026 launched in Dubai, with the State of Kuwait participating alongside a distinguished group of ministers, decision-makers, media and intellectual institution leaders, content creators, and experts from the region and around the world.
The State of Kuwait was represented by Dr. Nasser Al-Muhaisen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information.
In a statement to KUNA on the sidelines of the summit, Al-Muhaisen emphasized the importance of Kuwait’s participation in this Arab media gathering, which serves as a vital platform for exchanging visions and experiences and discussing the future of the media sector amid the rapid transformations occurring both regionally and internationally.
He noted that Kuwait’s participation reflects its commitment to keeping pace with developments in the media industry and benefiting from the experiences and expertise shared, thereby contributing to enhancing media operations and strengthening its capacity to address rapid technological and digital changes, particularly artificial intelligence technologies.
Al-Muhaisen praised the excellent organization of the summit and the extensive participation of officials, media institution leaders, experts, and content creators. He underscored the importance of such forums in fostering cooperation and knowledge exchange among Arab media institutions and supporting efforts to develop an Arab media landscape capable of meeting the demands of the future.
The Arab Media Summit 2026, organized by the Dubai Press Club under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, will continue until next Thursday at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
