Kuwait condemns Houthi militia attacks on Saudi Arabia: Kingdom’s security is an integral part of the security of the GCC states

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia’s attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians in the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and drones. These attacks resulted in injuries to several civilians and material damage to residential homes and vehicles, constituting a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement, the Ministry affirmed the State of Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its standing alongside it, and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, maintain its security and stability, protect its interests, and ensure the safety of its people and residents. The Ministry emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed the State of Kuwait’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the United Arab Emirates over the martyrdom of two members of the UAE Ministry of Defense while carrying out a training mission.

In its statement, the Ministry extended the State of Kuwait’s heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the Government of the United Arab Emirates and to the families of the two martyrs.
