Czech Republic: Full solidarity with Kuwait regarding the unjustified and reprehensible Iranian aggression

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Macek, reaffirmed his country’s supportive and solidarity stance with the State of Kuwait in response to Iran’s culpable and unjustified aggression against Kuwait and the countries of the region. This came in a press statement issued by our embassy in the Czech Republic following a meeting between Ambassador Talal Al-Shatti and Macek, during which they discussed avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. The statement noted that Ambassador Al-Shatti reviewed with the Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister ways to strengthen the distinguished bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Czech Republic, advancing them to broader horizons across all fields and levels, particularly in the economic, trade, and investment sectors. The statement added that the meeting also addressed several topics and issues of mutual interest, including current developments on the regional and international fronts.
