Unknown suspect broke into a tailor shop, smashing doors and drawers, and stole 1,974 dinars
A tailor shop in the Frouniya district was burglarized by an unidentified suspect who broke the shop’s exterior door and entered while the staff were absent, stealing 1,974 Kuwaiti dinars. According to a security source quoted by Al-Anba newspaper, the shop owner reported in a police complaint that he was surprised to find his shop broken into and its contents disturbed. The complainant added that the perpetrator did not merely break the exterior door but also smashed several drawers in search of cash, managing to steal 1,974 dinars before leaving the premises stealthily, as he had entered. The case was registered as a felony for burglary by breaking and entering and referred to the Public Prosecution, which ordered security agencies to take the necessary steps to uncover the circumstances of the incident. Criminal Investigation Department officers were tasked with conducting inquiries into the incident, while forensic experts were assigned to conduct a scene examination and collect fingerprints to identify the perpetrator.
