Palestinian Ambassador: Kuwait is among the most supportive countries of the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering

The Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait, Rami Tahboub, affirmed that Kuwait has been and remains one of the most supportive countries, standing close to the Palestinian people, and that its humanitarian stances reflect the depth of the fraternal and historical ties uniting the two countries and their peoples.
Speaking to KUNA following his visit to the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Tahboub said that the high-level directives have contributed to the continuity of Kuwaiti support in all its forms, particularly in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions endured by the Palestinian people. He noted that the support provided by Kuwait since the beginning of the Israeli aggression is difficult to quantify, given the scale of initiatives, aid, and implemented projects.
He added that Kuwait has provided substantial material and humanitarian support to the Palestinian people since the onset of the aggression and continues to do so, emphasizing that this stance embodies the authenticity of the Kuwaiti people and the commitment of the political leadership and government to stand by their Palestinian brothers in all circumstances.
He clarified that his visit to the society comes within the framework of continuous coordination to discuss various forms of support and humanitarian projects in Palestine, praising the strong bonds between the Kuwaiti Red Crescent and its Palestinian counterpart, as well as the level of communication between the two sides, which contributes to responding to humanitarian needs and alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people.
For his part, Khaled Al-Mughams, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, stated in a similar remark to KUNA that the Palestinian cause holds a firm place in the hearts of the State of Kuwait and its people. He noted that the Society continues to fulfill its humanitarian role in supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating the suffering of those affected, in line with the humanitarian principles underpinning its mission.
Al-Mughams said that the meeting with the Palestinian ambassador reflects the depth of fraternal relations and continuous coordination between the two sides, particularly regarding humanitarian needs and the projects and aid provided by the Society in Palestine.
He added that the Society is keen on maintaining communication and coordination with its Palestinian counterpart to help identify humanitarian priorities and enhance the effectiveness of the aid and projects provided, emphasizing that the cooperation between the two sides represents a model of humanitarian partnership based on coordination and responsiveness to actual needs on the ground.
He affirmed that the State of Kuwait has been and will remain present alongside the Palestinian people, and that Kuwaiti humanitarian efforts are a reflection of the steadfast positions and humanitarian approach adopted by the State of Kuwait.
