Trump: We are producing highly advanced weapons at rates surpassing any time in history

US President Donald Trump affirmed that oil is flowing through the Strait of Hormuz and that the United States is producing highly advanced weapons at unprecedented rates and in large quantities, noting that Iran wants to reach an agreement urgently. Trump said in a series of posts on his platform, Truth Social, that “oil is flowing through the Strait of Hormuz… We are doing this for others far more than for ourselves, and this has been our practice for generations,” calling on countries that have not provided assistance to compensate the United States. In another post, Trump stated, “I just received a report that the United States is producing highly advanced and elite weapons at rates exceeding any time in our history. These weapons are being delivered daily to our forces in the Middle East and other regions, as our defense contractors’ factories operate around the clock, seven days a week.” He added that this “coincides with the creation of an average of four to five entirely new large-scale industrial facilities for each company.” He pointed out that “the main focus of this production is on Patriot missiles, THAAD systems, Tomahawk missiles, and other standard missile systems, of which we already have large stockpiles.” Referring to the conflict with Tehran, the US president said that “Iran, which is experiencing failure, is seeking to reach an agreement and is eager and in a hurry to do so.” He added, “I will decide whether the United States will choose to engage in this matter, an option to which we are open.” In another post, Trump noted, “Ukraine has agreed not to strike Russian energy targets. Russia has agreed to do the same! It is most likely that the rise in global diesel prices is due to the Ukraine-Russia war, not Iran.”
