«Solidarity»: Disbursement of «Takaful and Karama» for September exceeds 4 billion pounds.. Today

Cairo – Hanaa El-Sayed: Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, announced the disbursement of cash assistance under the “Takaful and Karama” program for September to 4.7 million families on Tuesday, September 15, amounting to over 4 billion Egyptian pounds.

Morsi confirmed that beneficiaries could withdraw their funds during the early morning hours of Tuesday through all available bank automated teller machines (ATMs) across the country. They can also make electronic payments, conduct all government transactions, and make purchases.

The Ministry of Social Solidarity is monitoring the disbursement process of the Takaful and Karama assistance, coordinating with directors of social solidarity directorates to oversee the progress of the payments.

Notably, cash assistance is provided to 4.7 million vulnerable families, covering approximately 17 million citizens, with an annual budget of 54 billion Egyptian pounds.
