Interior Minister Discusses with Pakistani Army Commander Pakistan's Participation in the Military Support Conference for Lebanon in Paris

Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad al-Hajjar praised Pakistan’s role in achieving regional security and stability during his meeting with the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, Field Marshal Asim Munir, in Rawalpindi. Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Lebanon and expressed his aspiration to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The two sides discussed Pakistan’s participation in the preparatory conference to support the Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security Forces, which will be held in Paris later this week. They also reviewed the situation in Lebanon and the security challenges it faces, along with ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries and exchange expertise in security fields, thereby contributing to bolstering the capabilities of Lebanese security institutions and promoting stability.
