Unknown steals 12 electrical cables worth 2,940 dinars

Kuwait officials have opened an investigation into a theft targeting an electrical transformer belonging to the Ministry of Electricity and Water in the Khaitan area, after an unidentified individual managed to break into the transformer and steal approximately 12 electrical cables valued at around 2,940 Kuwaiti dinars. According to the report filed by a representative of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the theft was discovered during an inspection of the transformer by staff from the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, who found that the lock had been broken and about 12 electrical cables had been stolen. When asked whether he had any information about the person who committed the theft, the representative did not accuse anyone specifically. A case of burglary has been registered and referred to the Public Prosecution, and forensic experts have been summoned to lift fingerprints in order to identify the perpetrators, while detectives have been notified to carry out investigative and fact-finding operations.
