Allocation of 1,1668 land plots to citizens whose status has been regularized in the new city of Obour

Cairo - Nahed Imad: Eng. Randa Al-Munshawi, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the allocation of 1,166 land plots to citizens whose land status had been regularized in the “Qadisiya, Kilometer 48, Al-Amal, and Al-Adliya” areas, previously part of the new city of New Al-Obour, through five public lotteries (draws 50, 51, 52, 53, and 54).

The Minister of Housing clarified that citizens have been settled and issued allocation notices for land plots, with areas ranging between 350, 400, 450, and 500 square meters, as well as larger plots ranging between 750 and 4,200 square meters.

She emphasized that the file concerning the regularization and status adjustment of lands added to new cities is a top priority for the Ministry, ensuring the protection of citizens’ rights and achieving legal and social stability. She stressed the necessity of completing regularization procedures and accelerating the settlement and allocation processes for eligible cases, leading to the approval of master plans and the implementation of utility and infrastructure works, thereby contributing to enhancing the efficiency of the added areas and achieving the desired urban development.

For his part, Eng. Mahmoud Murad, Head of the New Al-Obour City Development Authority, explained that the public lotteries are part of the Authority’s plan to complete regularization procedures and finalize the cases of eligible citizens, according to clear mechanisms that ensure integrity, transparency, and swift processing.

The Head of the Authority noted that settlement operations are proceeding in parallel with the implementation of utility and infrastructure projects in the added areas, including drinking water, sewage, electricity, and road networks, according to specific implementation programs. This contributes to enhancing the readiness of these areas, preparing them for urban development, and ensuring the stability of residents.
