A delegation of students from the Applied Science University tours China's educational and technological experience

A delegation of students from the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) visited a number of leading universities, educational institutions, companies, and factories in the cities of Shenzhen and Shanghai during an educational and technical trip to the People’s Republic of China, as part of the cooperation between PAAET and the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait.

In a press statement, PAAET said that the visit by the distinguished delegation of students from the College of Technological Studies, led by Dr. Bashar Al-Zwair, included observing advanced educational, technological, and industrial experiences, and closely examining the latest applications in the fields of technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, robotics, automation, and smart manufacturing.

The statement added that the visit program included field tours at several major Chinese institutions and companies, including Huawei, BYD, and RoboTech, where students learned about the nature of work, the technologies used, production lines, modern applications, and the rapid development witnessed by these sectors in technology and industry.

It noted that the delegation visited several universities and educational institutions, observing the educational, training, research, and innovation environments, as well as academic and practical experiences that contribute to preparing specialized cadres and supplying the labor market with future-oriented skills.

PAAET emphasized that this visit aligns with its interest in providing outstanding educational and practical experiences for its students, connecting them with the latest global practices to enhance their knowledge and skills and broaden their scientific and professional horizons.

The statement conveyed the students’ appreciation for the experience, which provided them with the opportunity to explore various aspects of the Chinese model and observe practical applications of the knowledge and skills they acquire in their specialties.
