Health Ministry Calls for Blood Donations from Individuals with Negative Blood Types

The Ministry of Health has called on individuals with negative blood types who wish to donate to visit the Central Blood Bank or any of its branches to help bolster blood supplies and meet the needs of patients.

The Ministry emphasized the importance of blood donation initiatives, highlighting their humanitarian role in strengthening reserves and fulfilling the essential requirements of various medical cases.

It clarified that donations are available at the Central Blood Bank in Jabriya, the Cooperative Center for Blood Transfusion next to Adan Hospital, the Sheikha Salwa Al-Sabah Center next to the Maternity Hospital, as well as donation branches at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital and the new Jahra Hospital. Additionally, there is a donation branch at the Hamad Al-Humaidi and Sheikha Al-Sudairi Medical Center in the Shuwaikh Residential area, all according to the designated working hours for each center.

Under the slogan “Your Blood Donation… A Gift That Renewed Life,” the Ministry urged eligible citizens and residents to take the initiative, noting that blood donation plays a direct role in saving lives and supporting patients’ needs.
