Omani Foreign Minister: Postponement of the regional meeting scheduled for Monday in Salalah
Muscat, KUNA: Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi announced on Sunday the postponement of the regional meeting scheduled to take place in Salalah on Monday, noting that the delay was made “in order to achieve consensus.”
In a post on his X social media account, Al Busaidi said, “In order to achieve consensus, the regional meeting scheduled for tomorrow in Salalah has been postponed. We reaffirm our commitment to enhancing dialogue that supports stability and sustained cooperation in our region.”
For its part, the Oman News Agency stated that “the regional meeting, which was scheduled to take place on Monday in the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman, has been postponed to a later date.”
The agency added that this comes “in order to create suitable conditions for constructive dialogue that contributes to achieving sustainable understandings supporting the security and stability of the region and meeting the aspirations of its peoples for cooperation and peace.”
